First Annual B.A.C.H. Music Fest

Thank you to everyone involved.  This was such a great experience!!  A huge thank you to all the bands: Devon Galley and the Heavy Hold, Face Down, Sages, and Frankie and the Defenders.  There would not have been an event without your being there.  A special thank you to Frankie and the Defenders for sticking around for the entire event and managing sound.   Thank you to Devon Galley for creating the poster.  Thank you to George Schroeder of B.A.C.H. Music Foundation for getting the bands together!  A huge thank you goes out to the Country Club Saloon for hosting the event.  Jennifer, you're the best!  Most of all, thank you to TEAM M.A.C.S. for all of your efforts.  Team work makes the Dream Work!!

June 10th we partnered up with volunteers of  Windsor El Camino Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Carmichael, California to help Sacramento’s homeless around Carmichael Park area.


Prior to the event, El Camino staff had set up a box to collect donations of food and clothing in the front lobby of their facility. Residents at the facility volunteered to sort and pack the clothing by size, and assembled hygiene bags.  El Camino volunteers brought these donations to the event to share with our friends on the streets.


During the event, Windsor El Camino volunteers assisted us by serving prepared breakfast burritos, bagels, cereal, coffee, water bottles and Gatorade to persons in need at Carmichael Park.   What a great time serving our homeless population while giving our elderly a sense of belonging and the ability to give back to the community.  Thank you to all those who served in any capacity!!  Many hands make light work and you all were great to work with! 

November 23, 2017, we will be serving a full Thanksgiving meal to our Veterans at Post 1267 and our community as a whole.  If you are interested in volunteering, please send us a message to make arrangements.  If you are in need of a meal or just want to be surrounded by others, please feel free to come by.

Making A Change Sacramento (“M.A.C.S.”) is an IRS designated 501(c)3, all donations are tax deductible.

November 11, 2017, we were able to provide a meal to our Veterans at the VFW Post 1267 to honor them for their service and sacrifice.  Here are some photos of that event.  We were so honored to be able to serve this group of heroes.

June 17th was the MERCY Worldwide Event!!!  Here are some photos of these angels at work serving Making A Change Sacramento! This was some much needed help and greatly appreciated!!  Did I mention that this was one of the hottest days ever?  I believe it got up to 110 degrees that day.  Such troopers!!
